PSL Clydesdale are playing Inverleith tomorrow 11.30 Glasgow Green and Uddingston on Sunday at Peffermill 13.30. If you have the opportunity please get down and give the team some support. These game are vital and will determin the final league standing for the season.
Next weekend they will at have two more games at Glasgow Green. On Saturday 29th they will play Dundee Wanderers at 13.30 and the play off cross over vs. a team from Group “A” on Sunday 30th.
The Easter Hockey Camp will take place from 14th April to 18th April at Titwood. The hockey camp will provide coaching and fun activities through out the week. The coaching is from 10 am -3.00 pm and covers kids from 4 years to 16 years of age. Cost for the week is £85.

The Men’s first team finished their regular league programme with a 2-2 draw with Hillhead at Glasgow Green. With a top four finish no longer possible there was an opportunity to play some of the younger players and three players made their first team debuts, James Nairn, Dean Baber and Chris McFadden. The team start brightly taking the game to Hillhead and after 5 minutes Archie Breckenbridge set up Ciaran Crawford with a tap in. As the half progressed Hillhead found their rhythm and had a larger share of possession, a converted PC and FG just before half time made the score 2-1 to the home team. Clydesdale started the second half positively and mid way through the half equalized with a PC converted by Ciaran Crawford. There were chances at both ends for a winner in what was an open game. Clydesdale finished strongly and won two short corners near the end but neither Peter Baldwin or Murray Collins were able to convert. Overall it was a very encouraging performance by the team.
Next comes the play offs with four games over the next two weekends will decide the final placings and relegation.
Clydesdale U18 Boys defeated Western on Sunday. The score was 4-0 but the game was tight for long periods. The younger Western team performed with great resilience conceding only a Murray Collins short corner before half time. In the second half Clydesdale moved the ball better and eventually the pressure told. Murray Collins with another, Jamie Cook and Paddy Lonergan were the scorers.
The Final is at Glasgow Green on Friday 4th April push back 19.50.
Clydesdale Western won 7-0 today as the count down to the league playoffs continues. The boys suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Western and cannot now make the top four play offs, the very young Clydesdale team put in a good performance against an experience Western unit.
