The Ladies West District outdoor season is back with three games this weekend, whilst the 1s have a crucial indoor weekend.

Sunday 28th January – L5s vs. Stepps 2s (2.00pm, H)
The Men’s 1st team have a crucial weekend of indoor games, starting against Grove Menzieshill from 9.00am at Bell’s Sports Centre, Perth. The 1s only require a point to secure Division One indoor hockey next season. The only set of results that could see the M1s drop to 4th in Pool A of the league split would be a ‘Dale defeat to Menzieshill followed by an Edinburgh University win over Dundee Wanderers. The 1s second game of the day will be determined later in the day following results in Pool A and Pool B.
Clydesdale 2s finish their indoor season with games against Western Wildcats 2s, Grange 2s and Hillhead 2s at Forthbank. The 2s require seven points to finish 2nd in the Men’s Regional Indoor League.
Clydesdale Western 4s and 5s are in outdoor action, with the 4s away to GHK 2s from 1.30pm. The L4s currently sit 9th in the Women’s West District Division One table, but a win over GHK 2s could see them jump to 7th and close the gap on the teams above.
The L5s have back-to-back home games, starting with Ayr 2s on Saturday from 2.00pm. Then on Sunday, they take on Stepps, also from 2.00pm. The L5s sit 5th in the Women’s West District Division Three table, but have a few games in hand in their bid to seal promotion to Division Two.
Finally, the Men’s 3s, 4s and 5s are hosting an inter-club friendly from 12.30pm. If you are interested in playing, please contact your team captains.
Best of luck to all of our teams this weekend!
