The Club has an urgent need for voluntary support from members in the following areas.
Pitch Secretary
We are actively looking for a volunteer to help with diary management and pitch lets. Working closely with the Ground Convener and the two sections this person would co-ordinate the bookings on the MUGA and Astroturf hockey pitch. This is an important role within the running of the Club which has been covered off by Karl Richmond for many years.
Web design
The Club has a project to update and coordinate the Club’s website. The task will be to update the WordPress themes underlying the websites and organise the domain names used. We are looking for someone to set up the structure of the sites to make it easy for users from the sections to populate content. If any members have the required skill and time to help on this task please get in contact.
Finance
The Club is looking for volunteers to help with book keeping, primarily for the hockey section but also to help issuing invoices and collecting revenue as it is due. The time required would be a few hours each month (less than 8hrs).
Bar Convenor
The Club is looking for a with a member to join the Executive as Bar Convenor. The Club is actively looking for a Hospitality Manager and the Bar Convenor will be the line manager for that post. The time commitment for the Bar Convenor will be to attend monthly Executive meetings, to have regular updates with the bar team and ensure that team deliver as per the Club’s strategy.
