As a prelude the the Ladies Cup Final PSL Clydesdale won the Plate with a 7-1 victory over Falkirk Graham High. The game was tighter than the score line suggests as Clydesdale struggled to break down the Falkirk defense. With the score 3-0 deep into the second half when Falkirk gave themselves hope with a deserved goal and instantly followed that by winning a short corner so threatened to make it 3-2.
The corner was not converted and Clydesdale reacted with four quick goals to give the scoreline a more generous look. Scores were Rory McCann, Michael Cockburn x2, Fraser Hirst, Patrick Lonergan, Scott Lindsay and James Nairn.
