Post: Indoor Ladies have to settle for second place and Men retain status

Milne Craig Clydesdale Western had a hard battle vs Dundee Wanderers in the indoor final. Vicki Bunce got Wanderers off to a flyer in the first minute and the Champions  and they were clinical in front of goal. Fiona Bruce converted a corner just before half time to give the girls a toe hold on the game at 1-4 down time.  Wanderers got of the a scoring start in the second half and despite a great effort the girls they just couldn’t break Wanderers down finally losing 1-7.  Good luck to Wanderers in their trip to Vienna for the European Championship Trophy.

The boys had a more successful day, Fraser Hirst’s four goals got them off to a great start against Hillhead and they never looked back eventual running out 10-2 winners. A hattrick of corners from Ciaran vs Carnegie settled any nerves and the team ran out 11-1 helped by a hattrick from Dave Clark with David Nairn in amongst the goals too. Division One status successfully retained.
