Dear All,
Clydesdale & Clydesdale Western Hockey Club are currently working to have the pitch facilities open from next week. The club will be setting up an online booking system and offer 55-minute sessions on the pitch for groups of up to 8 people from a maximum of three households – as per Scottish Hockey (SH) guidelines.
You must book in advance and inform details of everyone who will be participating in your session to the club. Full details of the booking system, which includes the start date, will be announced on our website soon.
Jennifer Eadie is leading a COVID Hockey ‘Restart’ team in accordance with SH guidelines. Similarly, cricket chairman Colin Mitchell and Tim Hart will lead a COVID Cricket ‘Restart’ team in accordance with Cricket Scotland guidelines.
The hockey section will require extra volunteer help on site starting from next week to ensure we have an effective and safe return. Aspects include safe entry and exit of the club and ensuring appropriate disinfection. The cricket section already has a number committed volunteers helping, but are happy to have more help, if offered.
