Clydesdale 2 lost out today in the final of the District Cup at Glasgow Green. The boys gave it all they had but came up a little short. Clydesdale had plenty of possession and started the game confidently but Ruriadh Grossart capitalised on two opportunities to make it 2-0 to Grange after 20 minutes. Clydesdale continued to press but Grange soaked up the pressure with ease. Eventual Leo Howes scored to bring Clydesdale back into the game early in the second half but that seemed to spur Grange into action and after their best spell of the game Batchelor scored to make it 3-1. Another goal from Graham and a short corner Stumpy on the final whistle made it 5-1 to Grange.
