Clydesdale Western fought out a 3-3 draw with Slavia Prague yesterday in the Champions Challenge 1 but lost out in the penalty shoot-out to be relegated into CCII. All the goals came in a frantic second half. After losing the first goal Jenny Eadie and Millie Brown both scored to put Clydesdale Western 2-1 up but Prague equalised within a minute. In the 62nd minute Susan McGilveray convered a short corner move to regain the lead but again Prague responded equalising with four minutes to go.
In the shoot out the girls were unable to beat the Prague keeper and lost 2-0. A dissappointing result in what was a very tight tournament.
