Congratulations to Scotland u18 Boys who finished 6th in the “A” division of the European Championship and therefore will remain in the Division in 2015. The boys got through by beating France 4-3 and drawing with Austria 1-1 in a very hot Vienna. Losses were recorded against , Germany and Spain who went on to contest the Final, and also against Belgium. Clydesdale boys Murray Collins and Gordon Amour were in the squad. Spain became champions after a 5-2 win over the favourites Germany.

Scotland U18s Girls gained promotion from “B” division at the u18 European Championships in Santander by beating Ukraine 3-2 in the semi-final. The girls went on the win silver losing 0-2 to Span in Sunday’s final.
Congratulations s to all the girls and a special mention to Clydesdale Western’s Jenny Eadie for being named as the Player of the Tournament .
Scotland u18s girls are through to the semi’s of their European “B” division following a 4-0 win vs. Italy in Santander. Jenny Eadie lead the way with the first two goals – a penalty corner and then a penalty flick before Laura Page and Waverley Miller added to the tally. This win follows a 1-1 draw with Poland on Monday night. The semi final will be on Saturday.
The European u18s Championship “B” division takes place in Santander in Spain starting on the 8th July. Scotland were relegated from the “A” Division two years ago in Utrecht and will be looking to re-gain promotion to the top Division. Four Clydesdale Western girls are selected; Jenny and Alison Eadie, Jennifer Mathieson and Fiona Burnet. First task will be to make the semi-fianls and Scotland have Poland and Italy in their group.
