- Visiting Bear in Hospital – Bear has moved from Southern General and continues to get better. Visiting time is between 2.00pm to 4.30pm Saturday and Sunday and 6.00pm to 8.00pm all days at Murdorstoun. Please feel free to visit as this aids recovery but it is limited to a maximum of 3 people at any one time.

Clydesdale Western in Cup Final 24th May GNHC
The women’s Scottish Cup Final will be between Edinburgh Uni and Clydesdale Western the same two clubs that contested last year’s final.
The game will be different as both teams are missing their internationalists who are in full time training and so there are opportunities for other players to experience the big day.
Clydesdale Western made it through after a 1-1 draw with Cala Edinburgh Hockey Club and then survived the drama of a penalty shoot out which they won 3-2.
The game is at Glasgow Green on Saturday 24th.
European “A” Division
Congratulations to the Scotland Ladies team that successful retained their status in the A division in the European Championships. After three very narrow defeat vs Germany, England and Spain the girls were winners vs Belarus (3-2) and Ireland (3-1). Fantastic performance.
Seven Clydesdale Western girls were in the squad. – Amy Gibson, Cat Ralph, Ali Howie, Morag McLellan, Nic Skrastin, Holy Cram, and Susan McGilveray.
Scottish Cup Winners
Congratulations to the Girls who won the Scottish Cup on Saturday 25th at Peffermill. In a trilling game they came from behind to win 5-4 against Edinburgh University. Nicky Skrastin, Catriona Ralph, Holly Cram, and Susan McGilveray bagged the goals. The decisive spell can in the second half when from 1-3 down the girls stormed into a 5-3 lead before Sam Judge reduced the deficit to one with 10 minutes to go but the girls held out to the end.
Champion Trophy II
Congratulation to Clydesdale Western for winning Club Champions’ Challenge II with a 4-0 win over Rottwiess Wettingen in Prague today. The goals came from Holly Cram, Cat Ralph , Susan McGilvarey and Jenny Eadie.
