Clydesdale Western IVs won the District Cup today with a 2-1 win over Erskine Stewarts Melville IIs at GNHC. Erskine Stewarts Melville started well and deservedly took a 1-0 lead but did not take any more from their possession. Clydesdale Western slowly clawed their way back into the game and leveled it with a goal from Maureen White. As the second half progressed the Clydesdale Western pushed for a winner and won several short corners. With five minutes to go Marjery Taylor converted a short corner with a clean strike and quickly time ran out for Erskine Stewarts Melville. The Fours finished their season winning every game – well done!
