In September 2005 Clydesdale started entered a new Ladies team into the West District league. The team was created to expand the playing opportunities for women and girls at Titwood. Essentially this creates a route for players, introduced to the sport by grass roots development events, into the sport of hockey on a sustained and realistic basis. In 2008 a second team was added to the club. Following the popularity a third team has been added with a Sunday team playing friendlies in 2009. Over the Summer of 2010 the full merge of Glasgow Western Ladies was agreed enhancing the club.
