In September 2005 Clydesdale started entered a new Ladies team into the West District league. The team was created to expand the playing opportunities for women and girls at Titwood. Essentially this creates a route for players, introduced to the sport by grass roots development events, into the sport of hockey on a sustained and realistic basis.
