1st Team achieve target
New coach, Gordon Shepherd, secures top flight hockey for the 'Dale lads. Let's not foget the players peformed on the pitch to make this target. This will mean the 2nd half of the season will be 5 matches against the top teams in Scottish hockey.
The 2nd team have had mixed results but with 12 points from 10 games look comfortable to retain Regional 1st Division status.
The 3rd team are also having a mixed season with only 10 points grom 10 games. The squad has been hit by injuries which has produced the below par results but the captain is looking forward to the 2nd half of the season when he expects his full squad to be available.
4th team performances have improved on last year with 14 points from 9 games. Captain Amour feels his squad are getting stronger as each week goes by and is keanly awaiting the re-start of the season after the break. for indoor hockey.
The 5th team are having a poor season by their standard. This is to is due to injuries from a number of experienced players. The squad lacks continuity. Captain "Biffo" Henderson is one such injured player but he will hold the squad together for the nest series of games and is sure of retaining the slot in division 3.
The 6th team have not recorded a result this season and again we can identfy a number of injuries holding back team progress. Captain 'hang 'im Gordon does see this resolving itself for the 2nd part of the season. He is pleased that he has been able to bring in more youngsters into the squad.
Ladies - What a performance this season! From 7 leagues games they have recorded 6 wins and a draw. They sit comfortably at the top of their league on 19 points, 4 ahead of the nearest rivals.

1st Team start league program
Titwood at 2.00pm on Saturday 15th Sep sees the start of the league campaign for this season. The opponents, AAM Gordonians, no doubt will remember the final game game of last season which they lost by 1 goal.
This will be a good test for Clydesdale with the new coach, Gordon Shepherd, in place. No doubt all the 'Dale lads will be out to prove their worth. We wish them well.
The 2nd team travel to Striling to play the Uni. With the students barely back from vacation we can only hope they are caught cold and the points return to 'Dale.
